Surprised and delighted by this beautiful place

Surprisingly spacious well equipped self catering cottage in a fantastic location. Such a tranquil space to relax and unwind. The balcony room is a great space to share a glass of wine overlooking the river after a day out exploring. The local shops, bars and restaurants are On your doorstep and very friendly. The owner was extremely helpful and quickly replied to emails to make our arrival and stay faultless. Highly recommend!

10 Essential Questions for Casa Celestine

1. Sleeping Arrangements & Capacity

What is the exact bed configuration in Casa Celestine?

The downstairs bedroom can be set up with 2 single beds or 1 King zip-link bed. In the upstairs bedroom there is a small French double bed (120cm wide). In the Lounge, there is a single sofa-bed (standard single size). Casa Celestine can accomodate up to 5 people.

2. Accessibility & Physical Layout

Are there many stairs in Casa Celestine? Is the house suitable for guests with limited mobility?

There are a few steps up into Casa Celestine and a small flight of stairs to the second floor. But It must be noted these steps are particularly steep and so we do not recommended the upstairs bedroom for seniors or people with mobility issues.

3. Kitchen & Meal Prep

How well-equipped is the kitchen?

In Casa Celestine there is an induction hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, plates and cutlery.

4. How many bathrooms are there and what are the facilities?

Casa Celestine has two bathrooms. The first features a beautiful raised bath tub, toilet, sink, mirror and washing machine. In the upstairs bathrooms there is a shower, toilet, sink and mirror.

5. Connectivity & Remote Work

What is the Wi-Fi speed, and is there a dedicated workspace?

Yes, we provide Fiber Wi-Fi in Casa Celestine but you will find the Wi-Fi is stronger in the lower half of the house. Bare with us! The 14th Century thick walls make it difficult to have high-speed Wi-Fi in every single angle, but do not fear - you should be able to connect without problems and use your devices online. We suggest the Lounge or Dining Table to do any remote online work.

6. Climate Control

Does the house have Air Conditioning and heating in all rooms?

In this 14th century house you will not find air conditioning, but medieval stone walls meters thick that allow the cool air to float around the house. To ensure our guests comfort, there are also portable fans in the bedrooms lounge and kitchen to keep our guests extra fresh.

7. Parking & Arrival

Where exactly do I park, and how many cars are allowed?

There is a large public free car park in Isolabona, the centre of the borgo is pedestrianised to leave your car in the car park and weave your way though the medieval passageways and in just a few minutes you will arrive at the house.

Is it flat or uphill from the carpark to the house? Please remember that we are in the pre-Alps and these medieval villages often have steep steps.

8. Amenities

Is there a washing machine at Casa Celestine? And somewhere to dry clothes?

Yes there is a washing machine and there is space on the balcony to dry clothes.

Are linens and towels provided?

Yes we provide all bed linens and towels.

9. Outdoor Amenities

What is provided for the outdoor area?

On the breakfast balcony overlooking the river, there is a small square table and 2 chairs. There is also space to hang out your clothes to dry.
